Reading Challenge: Student Edition
The Reading Challenge: Massachusetts Student Edition gives students of all ages a chance to set and meet the goal of reading a book each month in a specific category and to share their experience within their reading community.
The program is sponsored by Massachusetts Center for the Book in collaboration with Massachusetts School Library Association.
How the challenge works (for organizations):
If your school, public library, bookstore, or other community organization would like to become a partner for the Reading Challenge, sign up using this form.
Promote the Challenge to the students in your network.
Each month, fill out this form to tell us how many students participated.
NOTE: this Challenge will be available on Beanstack in June.
How the challenge works (for students and their families):
See if your school, public library, bookstore, or other community organization is participating by searching through the Reading Partners list below.
Sign up for the Challenge through your local Reading Partner.
Report what you read to your Reading Partner each month.
If you need to participate in the Reading Challenge: Student Edition outside of a community or school program, sign up using this form and enter monthly using this form.

From October through January, students can submit to Letters About Literature.
